Ink Cloud is a next-generation platform for airports, airlines, ground handlers and tour operators to manage their flights and airport resources better.
Use Ink hardware and software systems to dramatically update passenger services and processes. Ink drives down costs and reduces the difficulty of adopting tech that improves the passenger experience.
Integrate Ink into existing systems or quickly replace legacy or expensive alternatives.
Agents use Ink Cloud to access all of the passenger information and system functions that they need on tablet or smartphone form factors.
Check-in with APIS collection. Bag tag printing and bag drop can be done in front of the desk; next to the belt in a single or a multi-step process for the highest throughput.
If your bag drop process is virtually as complex as a check-in transaction, Ink can work with you to reduce it all the way to a single scan for typical transactions and handle exceptions with minimum steps.

Our approach has been to design a beautiful unit that does multiple functions.
The Ink Kiosk runs a CUSS platform, does self-service or agent-assisted Bag Drop, self service check-in, prints baggage tags, does APIS validation, scans smartphones and takes payments (for selling Ancillaries). It can be easily converted to full DCS mode so exceptions can be handled without redirecting passengers to desks.
We’ve designed it with an impossibly small footprint using aesthetic yet robust materials to deliver functions that the modern-day traveller expects.
Conventional thinking dictates that airlines need desks. Desks for check-in – even if an airline uses self service – for processing exceptions. Desks for bag drop. Desks for sales and boarding. CUTE and CUPPS are the middleware systems that enable hardware to be shared…on desks.
With Ink, airlines do not need desks.
Ink’s secure mobile platform reads barcodes, prints barcoded boarding passes and baggage tags, reads bag weights electronically from scales, controls baggage belts, scans passports and ID cards, does bag drop, boarding, runs a full DCS, sells Ancillaries and takes payments (even Ink kiosks do all of the above).
Share hardware and get the benefits of Common Use from a provider that has no vested interest in the preservation of CUTE-centric operation.
Send Boarding Passes to customers running Apple iOS6. Android phones and iPhones without Passbook receive boarding data via SMS and the Web.
Just as easily distribute barcoded Special Offer Coupons and Meal Vouchers when flights are delayed.
Use passengers’ mobile numbers to build a more meaningful relationships with them.
Stop punishing your passengers by redirecting them to additional slow-moving Sales Desk queues. Bring the Sales function to them where they are and start selling at the point of need.
Ink’s Ancillary Calculation Engine (ACE) automatically works out ancillary charges that, before now, required human logic to decipher.
Accept secure, PCI-compliant EMV credit card payments, issue receipts and remember to smile.
Turn traditional service agents into mobile Sales Agents that upsell and serve your passengers better. Sell before passengers get to the airport, sell on kiosks, sell in check-in or bag drop queues (we can help you get rid of those too), keep selling at the boarding gate, sell in the lounge… sell… sell… sell.
