| WebDCS™ is our flagship product. It is a fully featured DCS that manages flight departure and is the platform for our self service products. This gives you the ability to access any aspect of the departure control process from self service products. This fundamental differentiator gives our products a wider range of capabilities than many competing offerings. Any business process can be accommodated by configuring existing components and seamlessly connecting to external services, hosts and systems. Open Connectivity WebDCS™ runs on WebCUTE™, which was built to connect. It connects to peripherals (such as A4 printers, label printers, scanners, barcode readers), biometric hardware, kiosks, PCs, Macs, Sun Servers, Microsoft .NET Services, Oracle Databases, AODB, airline hosts, FIDS, BHS, BRS, legacy CUTE Systems, terminal emulators, browser-based applications and applications servers. WebCUTE™ (and therefore WebDCS™) can connect to anything that is capable of importing or exporting data to carry out a process. |
Multi-tier (N-tier) Architecture Multi-tier Model-View-Controller architecture separates data storage (Model) from business rules (Controller) and from the presentation layer (View). This minimises the impact of changes - giving us the ability to respond quickly to your new requirements. Business Rules Engine WebDCS and the Self Service Suite can automatically alter their behaviour, dependent on a variety of factors: When criteria are met, different aspects of the application (including but not limited to system-to-system connectivity, fields displayed to agents/passengers, message flow configuration, APIS scheme) and almost any other part of the application can be modified dynamically. Flexibility The multi-tier architecture and Business Rules Engine introduce unrivalled flexibility and agility to your front-of-house Passenger Services. Our positive approach and our ability to accommodate new requirements mean that you almost always hear yes when you ask whether our system can presently do or be made to do a particular task. |
